Our organization requires the service of a Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Specialist.
Responsibilities
Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Specialist will be responsible for developing the content for the deliverables identified in
this contract.
MEL Specialist must have knowledge of logic models, performance monitoring, and international development technical assistance.
The MEL specialist is expected to provide virtual trainings in addition to all basic services related to labor.
Demonstrated familiarity with Systems Thinking and Complexity Science (STCS) and Culturally Responsive Evaluation (CRE) are preferred.
Demonstrated experience developing spreadsheet tools in Microsoft Excel or similar applications.
• Demonstrated experience developing monitoring, evaluation, and learning training materials, curricula, and providing virtual trainings and technical advice and support on monitoring, evaluation, and learning topics.
Qualifications
Master’s degree or higher in related field.
Monitoring, evaluation, and learning Specialist must have at least 5 years of developing logic models and indicators for international technical assistance projects, contracts or agreements.
Must have experience with complexity-aware monitoring, evaluation, and learning (CAMEL) and project management and design concepts, and Collaboration, Learning and Adaptation (CLA) or Adaptive Management concepts.
Recent experience (within the past two years) developing guidance, resources and/or tools for monitoring, evaluation, and learning.
Fluent in English and/or Spanish, both written and speaking.
Ability to produce high quality deliverables in proficient English in a timely fashion.
